Hello

My name is Richa. I am originally from India, now settled in the Bay area.

I am an Engineer, Teacher, Artist, Photographer and a Mother.

My Story

Have you ever looked at a pile of Lego bricks and seen not just toys, but endless possibilities? That's the magic I discovered, and it's the magic I want to share with your child at our Lego Robotics Summer Camp.

My journey to this camp began on a very different path. For nearly 15 years, I thrived in the fast-paced world of software development, wielding code like a digital artist. But within me, there was always a yearning for another kind of creation, one fueled by imagination and playful exploration.

Motherhood brought a beautiful shift in my priorities. After the arrival of my second child, particularly amidst the uncertainty of the global pandemic, I craved more time to nurture their young minds. This led me back to my early love of education, drawing on my experience as an assistant Montessori teacher.

It was through Legos, initially a way to connect with my son, that I rediscovered the incredible bridge between STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and artistic expression. These little bricks became the building blocks for a world of learning, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.

My passion didn't stop there. I delved deeper, completing a Lego robotics course from Carnegie Mellon University, a prestigious institution known for its cutting-edge research and education. This intensive program solidified my vision: to create a camp that combines my technical expertise with my artistic sensibilities and love for nurturing young minds.

The Imagineers club is the culmination of my unique experiences. It's where my background in computer science and information technology intertwines with my artistic spirit and passion for teaching. Here, your child will embark on an adventure filled with Lego creations, coding challenges, and playful learning experiences that spark their imagination and fuel their future as inventors!
